On August 25, the new BYD Song L debuted at the 2023 China Chengdu Auto Show, positioned as a B-class hunting SUV, based on the E-platform 3.0 medium-sized B-class platform.
In the appearance part, Song L inherited the unique "Longyan aesthetics" of BYD Dynasty network, and injected pioneering soul into Longyan aesthetics with light empowerment. The sharp line language, the personality of the hunting style, and the aggressive attitude of the ready to go, create a hunting SUV that integrates sports and strength. The three configurations of "narrow front and wide rear tires, rimless doors, and electric tail fins" cater to young users' pursuit of personalized modeling.
The car has "e platform 3.0, CTB, Yunlian-C" three BYD black technology. With the support of CTB battery body integration technology, the body torsional stiffness of Song L exceeds 40,000 N · m/degree. With the blessing of "Yunnian C", it has a millisecond damping adjustment speed and fine vibration filtering ability. Acceleration brake, no obvious pitch; High-speed corner, stable control.
In terms of intelligent driver assistance systems, DiLink intelligent network connection system, DiPilot intelligent driver assistance system, and Pioneer intelligent cockpit are equipped with comprehensive upgrades of convenience and safety. The car is scheduled to go on sale in the fourth quarter of this year.
